The Harmony of Torah

June 8th, 2025 @ The Lyric Baltimore
FAQs

What is this event?

“The Harmony of Torah” is an extraordinary celebration marking the culmination of TA’s Hadran Aloch learning initiative.

Every TA talmid — from preschool through mesivta — will gather under one roof with their parents for a unique and special morning of kol Torah, an inspiring siyum and spirited simcha.

Following the siyum, we will take part in a magnificent, warm and heartfelt musical experience led by renowned conductor and arranger Yossi Schwartz. Over 1,500 Rebbeim, fathers and talmidim will learn a special song together — including harmonies, parts, and a full group arrangement — and then perform it as one united voice. It’s inspirational, engaging, and unforgettable — no musical background needed! Just bring your ruach and your voice, and get ready for a powerful moment of achdus, creativity, and simchas hachaim that will be professionally recorded and shared experience that will unite over 1,500 voices in song and harmony.

This event reflects the spirit of our “Even More” campaign and brings to life the values that define TA: Torah, growth, connection, and simcha.

Doors will open at 9:45 AM, and the father-son learning program will begin promptly at 10:15 AM. The siyum will take place at approximately 11:00 AM. The “Harmony of Torah Musical Experience” will begin at approximately 11:30 AM. We expect the event to conclude between 1:00 and 1:30 PM.

Who is this event for?

This event is exclusively for TA talmidim, parents and faculty. Fathers will sit and learn side-by-side with their sons during the father-son seder. Women are warmly invited to attend and participate in the celebration.

Due to limited space and the nature of the program, we regretfully ask that siblings who are not enrolled at TA not attend.

Will there be Yeshiva on Sunday, June 8th?
No. This event replaces regular Sunday classes. All TA students are expected to attend. Although our preschool and first grade divisions do not typically have school on Sundays, they are warmly encouraged to participate. This is a TA-wide experience, and every talmid matters.
What supervision will there be?
This is a parent-supervised event. Fathers (or a designated adult male) will accompany their sons throughout the morning. Rebbeim will be present, but are not responsible for talmidim during the event. Please arrive with your son(s) and remain with them for the duration of the program.
What if a father cannot attend?
If a father is unavailable, another adult male may attend in his place. You are also welcome to coordinate with another TA family to attend together.
Every talmid must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.
What is the dress code for this event?
In recognition of the kavod hatorah nature of this event, we request that all participants wear bigdei Shabbos.
Will there be food?
Light refreshments will be served.
What are the parking options?
We have been informed by the venue that there is plenty of free street parking on a Sunday morning. Parking is also available in nearby garages for a fee. The Fitzgerald Parking Garage is at 80 W. Oliver St., Baltimore, MD 21217, directly adjacent to the venue.
We recommend allowing additional time to park and walk to the Lyric before the program begins.

The address of The Lyric Baltimore is 140 W Mt Royal Ave.
Do my boys need to bring any seforim to learn from?
Boys do not need to bring any seforim to learn from. A packet with learning material for every grade will be provided.
The Early Childhood talmidim will be bringing home a small envelope for a fun activity on Friday. Please make sure to bring it with you to the event.
Will there be assigned seating?
There will be specific assigned group seating in the Lyric, for the Harmony of Torah musical experience. You will receive an email before Sunday with your seating group. Please look out for, and save that email, for reference when you arrive at the theater.
